The Rhode Island Children's Policy Coalition (CPC) is an alliance of community organizations, advocacy groups, family members, providers, and individuals whose purpose is to coordinate statewide policy efforts regarding the welfare, health, mental health, education, juvenile justice, and the economic well-being of children and families.
The CPC has three core functions: to promote policy, to advocate, and to increase public awareness about issues facing RI children and families. The foundation of our advocacy since our inception has been to promote policies that strengthen the community-based system of care for children and families. Healthy families lead to healthy communities, and healthy communities lead to a healthy economy.
